Christmas Celebration 2016

The Christmas celebration of Bharathi was zealously celebrated on 10.12.2016 (Saturday), at the school premises. It was a grand show coordinated by the students of grade I to IV. The programme began with a prayer song followed by a play, which enumerated the life of Jesus Christ. The play brought forth the scenes of birth of Christ in the manger and other episodes related to it. The magi, wise men spoke on the greatness of Jesus Christ. To crown the show, there were beautiful carol songs and colorful dance performance of our students. The appearance of the Santa-Claus was the epitome of perfect joy. The students of grade IV gave fruitful information on Christmas, which was celebrated worldwide. Amidst all nations, the Chinese and Spanish celebrations are note-worthy. Thus the program ended joyfully assuring us with the prosperity of the New Year.

Bharathi Darshan 2016

Bharathi Darshan, the annual science exhibition of 2016 was conducted on 19th November 2016, Saturday at the school premises. The students of grade I to XII took part in it actively, exhibiting various science projects covering all genres. This science exhibition became productive by the three-tier system which involved the able guidance of the teachers, encouragement of the parents and active participation of the students. Though the students of grade 1-3, came with dummy model, their explanation was mind blowing. Prizes were also given to all the outstanding projects. Eco club students organized a soil – less garden using coir-pith and nurtured different varieties of plants. Saplings were also sold by them. There was a wide display of items which were made ‘wealth from waste’.

Diwali Celebration 2016

Diwali, the festival of lights was celebrated grandly, at the school premises on 27th October 2016 was presided by the correspondent Mr. C Anand. The programme began with an invocation dance and it was performed by the tiny tots of Bharathi. The students enacted a skit on Ramayana which included the birth of rama, his childhood days, his marriage with sita, his vana vasa, the usurping of sita by Ravana, meeting Vaali, Sukreevan and Hanuman and so on. The vivid picturisation of Rama and troop crossing the sea to reach Lanka was extra ordinary. After rescue, their return to Ayodhya and the coronation followed. The little angels of Kindergarten dressed in different musical instruments attracted all. The cracker dance was the highlight which the students enjoyed a lot.

Annual Sports Day 2016

The Annual Sports Day was held on 27th August 2016 at our school premises. The programme started with prayer song followed by flag hoisting. Our senior faculty, Mrs.Saroja hoisted the national flag. The enthusiastic students of grade XI, marched zealously representing their houses: Noble, Peace, Charity and Truth. Their colourful and vibrant march astounded the audience. Correspondent Mr. Anand handed over the Olympic torch to the outstanding athletes of Bharathi, and the Olympic torch was lit with great pride. The finals of all games of different categories were conducted. The program was well-organized and conducted by the tireless efforts of the physical education teachers. The overall trophy was given in memory of late Mr.Chittappaji and it was bagged by charity house. The house captains Madhavan and Akshaya Varuni received the trophy from the hands of the Correspondent Mr. Anand. The program concluded with the March – off.

Proficiency Prize Distribution 2016

Proficiency Prize Distribution Ceremony for the academic year 2015 - 2016 was held in the school premises on 20th August, 2016. Mr. F. Amin Mohideen, the proud father of Nihal Amin of Grade VI was the Chief Guest for the day. The Correspondent of the School Mr.C. Anand was also present during the occasion to encourage the young achievers.

The outstanding students who excelled in academics from LKG to Grade. XII were awarded with proficiency prizes. They were honoured in the presence of their parents. Later the chief guest addressed the students and motivated them to come out with flying colours and to win laurels to the prestigious institution.

Independence Day Celebration 2016

The 70th Independence Day was celebrated grandly at our school premises on 15th August, 2016. The program began with the prayer song. Then our beloved principal Mrs. Periyanayaki hoisted the national flag and accepted the salute of the NCC cadets. The students then sang the “flag song” and instilled the patriotic feelings in us. It was followed by a skit performed by the students of grade 7, 8 and 9. The skit enumerated the ancient history and reminded us of the heroic deeds of our ancestors. Though India got freedom from the British, there are many other factors which enmesh the growth of our nation. Such impediments should be detected and rooted out at the earliest only then India would progress as a super power. As Indians, it is our prime duty to inculcate such values in young mind. Thus Independence Day evoked such noble thoughts in our mind.

Inauguration of Clubs 2016

Inauguration of clubs for the academic year 2016-2017 took place on 2nd July 2016, Saturday at 10.00 a.m. The function commenced with the lighting of lamp by the Chief Guest Mrs. Menaka Devi Gangadharan, Secretary of Thiruneriya Thiruvasagam Mandram. It was followed by the introduction of the Presidents and Secretaries of various clubs on stage. Zealous dance performance by the students along with zestful musical accompaniments adorned the stage. Well articulated skit and the ingeniously deciphered mime show added a real zing. The programme concluded with the motivational speeches delivered by the Chief Guest and the Principal.

Presentation of colours 2016

Presentation of colours is a grand celebration in which the school pupil leaders and house captains are felicitated. This year the colours day was celebrated on 01.07.2016 with great pomp and pride at our school premises. The chief guests were Prof. V. Palaniyappan and Mrs. Veeramadevi. The programme started with the prayer song followed by flag hoisting. Then, the school pupil leaders and assistant school pupil leaders and the house captains representing the houses namely: Truth, Peace, Noble and Charity were introduced and were honoured by the chief guest. The leaders took an oath swearing that they would take the institution to greater heights. The former school pupil leader and other leaders were also felicitated for rendering a noble service during the academic year 2015-2016.

The chief guest exhilarated the audience by his wonderful speech on values of life. The program ended with the national anthem. Thus the program instilled a great thought that:

Award Function 2016

The Award Day function for the year 2015-2016 was held on 23.07.2016, at our school premises.

The Board exam results of X and XII STD was fabulous. Bharathi has once again reached the Zenith by attaining the District First rank, in the XII exam. Vetriselvan S scored 1188/1200 and won appreciation from the honourable collector of Coimbatore. The result of X Std was also outstanding. We zealously convey that five of our student bagged school first with the total of 495/500. The award day function started with the prayer song. The chief guest Mr. Subramaniyan S and Mrs. Bhuvaneswari, the parents of Vetriselvan hoisted the National Flag and gave away the prizes to the young achievers of X and XII grade.

Our Correspondent Mr. C Anand, honoured the teachers for their strenuous efforts. The chief guest delivered his speech, enumerating the preparations required for the board exams. The exotic program ended with the national anthem.
